Restoration of the Jewish People

After reaching their lowest point in history, being scattered among the nations, despised, persecuted, with their land in utter desolation, Israel came to a point where a new era could begin.

God says clearly that when the time comes he will gather the Jewish people back to their homeland. Today, this is happening right in front of our eyes! God is dealing with Israel in a sovereign way, and He expects the Gentiles to speak tenderly to the Jewish people. God's intention from the beginning has been the spiritual restoration of the Jewish people.

Watch this video as Rev. Mojmir Kallus, VP of International Affairs, closes this series by wrapping up the final conclusion of what the word of God says about the spiritual condition of the Jewish people.

Thank you for watching this four-part series. We hope you were greatly blessed!

From Wastelands to Blooming Gardens

In Isaiah 6:11, Isaiah asks the Lord how long this spiritual hardness will remain for the Jewish people:

"Then I said, 'Lord, how long?' And He answered: 'Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, the houses are without a man, the land is utterly desolate.'"

By the mid 1800's, God fulfilled these words about the land of Israel. Israel had to reach it's lowest place with no hope, so only God could change the desert wastelands into streams of living water.

If you travel to Israel today, you will see a very different picture of Israel. The land is no longer desolate, but instead it is full of Jewish people that have returned to the land from the four corners of the earth. God has turned the desert wastelands into blooming gardens. And even in the midst of their enemies, Israel has a thriving economy that is also a great blessing to the nations.

Watch this video as Rev. Mojmir Kallus, VP of International Affairs, takes us deeper into the word of God to see what God has done, is doing, and will do with the nation of Israel.

The Hardening of Israel - Isaiah's Encounter With God

In Isaiah 6:8, Isaiah explains his encounter with God: "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I! Send me.'”

He was then entrusted with a very difficult message from God in the next verses (9-10):

"And He said, 'Go, and tell this people: "Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive." 'Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.'”

Isaiah understood the message of punishment, but he also knew that it was only a matter of time when God would turn his face again to His people. Israel will suffer, but NOT forever. Therefore, let us examine our hearts before judging the Jews.

Watch this video of Rev. Mojmir Kallus, VP of International Affairs, as he digs into the book of Isaiah to further discover the context and meaning behind God's message to Isaiah.

The Hardening of Israel

How does Israel’s hardening towards Jesus and the Gospel fit into God's plan to bring salvation to the world? How long will it last? What will happen when this “hardening in part” is removed?

Join Rev. Mojmir Kallus, VP of International Affairs, as he addresses difficult Bible passages explaining the spiritual condition of the hardening of the hearts of the Jewish people. He examines these biblical truths to bring greater clarity and understanding. Let us approach these Scriptures with an open mind and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into the whole truth.

Have You Not Read? Part Two

"Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." (Acts 17:11)

In this verse, we discover believers who were eager to receive Paul's message, yet also displayed wisdom by digging into the Scriptures to make sure Paul's teaching aligned with God's truth.

ICEJ President Jürgen Bühler, addresses the destructive trend in the modern Church to separate from the word of God, and emphasises the great importance to value and read the Bible every day: "The Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, is squarely about the person of Jesus."

As you watch the last video of this series, we pray you will be filled with a fresh passion for God's Word. We encourage you to make God's Word your daily food, and as you do we know the Lord will bless you greatly!

Aaron Shust Sings "Zion" in Zion!

At the Feast of Tabernacles 2018, Aaron Shust lead worship and performed his original song, "Zion." This was a dream come true for him, because it was his very first opportunity to sing "Zion" in the actual place of Zion in Jerusalem!

Aaron has had many opportunities to sing this song, and each time he does, he also explains the heart behind the lyrics:

"Oh, daughters of Zion. Oh, Abraham's sons. Hear the words of your Father. Hear His promise of love. I will make you a blessing, so count the stars if you can. You will be a great nation. I will give you this land. I will bring you back home."

These lyrics - taken directly from Scripture passages - demonstrate God's heart and purposes for the Jewish people and Israel. When Aaron performs this song, he asks the crowd, "Do you believe God keeps His promises?" And everyone usually shouts, "Yes!" So Aaron responds, referencing Romans 11: "Well, God keeps His promises with Israel, too!"

We are thankful for our promise-keeping God and His incredible plans for the people and land of Israel! As you watch this video, be inspired to come to Zion and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with us, which is less than three weeks away!

Have You Not Read? - Part One

Right in the heart of Jerusalem, ICEJ President Jürgen Bühler, addresses the destructive issue of the Church separating from the word of God. He goes on to explain how Jesus Himself related to the word of God.

Jesus referred to the Old Testament by saying, "Have you not read?" or "Have you not heard?" more than 20 times in the New Testament. Jesus had all the authority to establish a new set of rules, but he knew the writings of the Old Testament was the truth that God His Father had set in place.

As you watch part one of this teaching series, we hope you are inspired to pick up your Bible and spend time reading God's precious promises and truth. We pray that God will open your mind to understand the word of God in a fresh way!

Everyday Miracles at Kibbutz Alumim

Can you imagine living 3 km from the Gaza border and only having 15 seconds to get to safety when the rocket siren sounds? Hamas continually aims rockets and incendiary balloons at Israeli communities, like Kibbutz Alumim, making it impossible for these Israelis to live normal lives. Therefore, its is extremely important to equip these Israelis, young and old, with practical tools on how to seek protection in shelters, duck and cover in open areas, as well as cope with trauma and fear.

Esther Marcus a licensed therapist explained, "The Christian Embassy has our back. Knowing that you support us enables us to help other people. To see Christians and Jews working together fills my heart and fills my soul with absolute joy and hope. We see miracles everyday, but we just have to know how to open our eyes to them and to appreciate them."

Watch this eye-opening video of the daily battles for Israeli communities near the Gaza border, as well as the incredible miracles God is doing everyday!

Shilo Ben Hod - Hebrew Worship

Shilo Ben Hod is a local Israeli worship artist who has a passion for prayer, worship, and youth! All of his songs were inspired by his time spent in prayer and worship at Succat Hallel, a local 24-7 prayer house here in Jerusalem. Shilo believes that God is calling many people here in the land of Israel to be worshippers and stand in the house of prayer as watchmen on the walls.

Watch this video of Shilo Ben Hod explain his heart behind his music, and then listen to one of his songs!

As you watch this video, we hope you are inspired to come to this year's Feast of Tabernacles, where Shilo Ben Hod will lead us again in another powerful time of praise to our Lord!
